Bridging the gap between sustainability theory and operational reality. I build data-backed systems that prepare your organisation for rigorous ISO 20121:2024 compliance while optimising operational efficiency.

The Roadmap
Step 01Diagnostic & Roadmapping

Set the trajectory for a sustainable management of your operations.

I establish the strategic foundation: what matters, to whom, and how compliance will be evidenced from day one.

Deliverables
  • Materiality assessment
  • Stakeholder engagement planning
  • ISO 20121:2024 gap analysis
  • Structured, auditable roadmap

ISO 20121:2024 certification is issued by an accredited certification body. I am a qualified ISO 20121:2024 auditor (TÜV SÜD) and prepare your event or organisation for that audit — I do not issue certificates.

Is this the right fit for you?

Absolutely not. ISO 20121:2024 is designed to be completely scalable and is suitable for events of any size — from intimate local gatherings and boutique weddings to large-scale international congresses. I tailor the management system's complexity to match your exact scale and budget, so a small event can be prepared for certification by an accredited certification body without unnecessary administrative overhead. The certificate itself is always issued by that independent body, not by me.

It can be tailored to any of these. You may want to certify a singular high-profile flagship event, or an ongoing event series or recurring portfolio. Certifying a series is often more cost-effective, because it establishes a standardised Sustainable Management System (SMS) that spans multiple editions. Alternatively, the system can cover your entire company's operational portfolio, establishing long-term market leadership.

Absolutely. The framework is modular. You can engage me strictly for the planning phase or for a targeted audit of the event, focusing on the aspects most crucial to your sustainable management system. Whether your priority is waste reduction, transport management, social impact, carbon emission reduction, or supply chain evaluation, I tailor my focus to deliver immediate, high-value insights for your specific event without requiring a commitment to the full certification cycle.

Yes. Data-backed reporting is available as a standalone service, with no formal third-party certification involved. Whether you need to align with EU CSRD frameworks, satisfy sponsor and stakeholder ESG expectations, or secure municipal event funding, I provide the precise quantitative data and qualitative narratives required. Diagnostic assessments, live footprint tracking, and post-event Impact Reports are designed as standalone, fully auditable disclosures that evidence your environmental and social performance without entering the formal ISO 20121 certification track.

I replace generic eco-checklists with targeted, auditable proof. Because you cannot manage what you do not define, I begin with a Materiality Assessment to identify which environmental, social, and economic impacts are truly relevant to your stakeholders — so operational resources are not spent measuring the wrong things.

Once your material focus areas are established, the measurement framework operates in alignment with ISO 20121:2024. I verify and quantify impact across all three sustainable pillars:

Environmental aspects: Such as GHG emission, waste measurement, ecosystem preservation.

Social aspects: On-site verification of labor conditions, accessibility, inclusivity, community engagement.

Economic aspects: Assessing impact on businesses, local economy, and supply chain.

The result is a Post-Event Report: an asset for corporate ESG audits and stakeholder reporting.

About

Meet the strategist.

I've always known I wanted my career to create real-world change, a spark that started while volunteering with the Red Cross in Italy during the pandemic. That experience led me down a diverse and rewarding path: from sustainable travel and climate activism to leading community advocacy as a participatory action researcher and designing community workshops that bring people together.

But along the way, I noticed a glaring gap. Too often, events are treated as temporary spaces, exempt from environmental and ethical standards. They end up being a wasted opportunity to mirror the positive impact that progressive companies and organizations are trying to build.

The Mission

I decided to close that gap. Today, I act as the bridge between your good intentions, responsible operations, and a profitable business — using frameworks like ISO 20121:2024, ISO 59000, EIC Sustainable Events Standards and GRI.

I'm here to help you design and execute events that make a measurable, positive impact — and make perfect sense for your goals.
